Personal Experience
Monae T. Ojo is an Associate Attorney who is a proud native of Livingston, Texas, who has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to community service. She graduated in the top 10% of her class from Livingston High School, showcasing her dedication and hard work from an early age.
Monae obtained a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Houston in 2016, where she further honed her analytical and interpersonal skills. Her passion for law and justice led her to South Texas College of Law Houston, where she earned her Juris Doctor (JD) degree in 2024, along with a Transactional Law Practice Certification. Monae’s areas of practice include real estate, probate, estate planning and civil litigation. During her time at South Texas, Monae was an active member of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and served on the Executive Leadership Board. Her outstanding contributions were recognized with the prestigious Dickerson-Moore Humanitarian Award.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Monae enjoys spending quality time with her family, binge-watching her favorite shows, traveling to new destinations, and exploring diverse culinary experiences at new restaurants.
